End of Summer

Where does the time go, seems like yesterday it was January 1, 2009, and here we are nearing the end of August. School has begun and Perry is getting ready for the Cherokee Strip Celebration.
Oh my gosh, could the 2009 Summer Reading Program been more fun. We had a blast! Nearly 1,000 children and adults attended one or all of the programs offer. I thank everyone who attended.
Congratulation, Aiden Dillon, (2 - 6 age group) and Desmond England, (7 - 12 age group), they were the top readers in their age groups. Congratulation, Carson Rames - week 5 winner of The Oklahoman contest. Stop by and see some of the art work and the comic book the Wednesday SRP made. It is so neat.
